Cost of Attendance

The cost of attendance includes tuition, fees, books and supplies, and estimated living expenses. Current tuition and fee schedules are published each academic year and are available on the Admissions and Financial Aid pages or by contacting the Office of Enrollment Services.

Graduation and Retention Rates

The College reports graduation and retention rates annually as part of its institutional effectiveness efforts. These rates reflect the percentage of full-time, first-time students who complete their program within 150% of the expected time. Detailed rates are available upon request from the Office of Institutional Research.

Transfer of Credit Policies

Newsom Educational College evaluates transfer credit from regionally accredited institutions on a course-by-course basis. Students may request a preliminary transfer evaluation during the admissions process. The College does not guarantee acceptance of transfer credit by other institutions.

Financial Aid Information

Eligible students may receive federal and state financial aid, including grants and scholarships. Information on available aid programs, application procedures (FAFSA), satisfactory academic progress requirements, and refund policies is available through the Office of Financial Aid.

Campus Security Statistics (Clery Act)

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act, the College publishes an Annual Security Report containing campus crime statistics, security policies, and emergency procedures. The report is available on our Safety and Security page or by request.

Drug and Alcohol Policies

The College maintains a drug-free environment in compliance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act. The standards of conduct, disciplinary sanctions, and available health resources related to drug and alcohol use are described in the Student Handbook.

Copyright and File Sharing

Students and employees must comply with U.S. copyright law and institutional policies regarding the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material, including peer-to-peer file sharing. Violations may result in disciplinary action and legal penalties.

FERPA Rights

In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), students have the right to inspect and review their education records, request amendments, and consent to disclosures. Detailed FERPA information is available in the Student Handbook and through the Registrar's Office.
